Ingredients
1 lb thinly sliced beef strips (sirloin or strip steak works well)
3 tbsp grass-fed butter
1 tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder (or fresh minced garlic)
1 tsp onion powder
Directions
Prep the Beef
Pat the beef strips dry with paper towels (helps them sear better)
Season evenly with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and onion powder. Toss to coat.
Heat the Pan
Place a large cast-iron skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
Add 2 tbsp of grass-fed butter and let it melt until foamy.
Cook the Beef
Add the seasoned beef strips in a single layer (work in batched if needed).
Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and just cooked through. They cook fast, so avoid overcooking.
Finish with Butter
Add the remaining 1 tbsp of butter to the pan.
Toss the beef strips in the melted butter for a glossy, rich finish.
Serve
Plate immediately while hot.
Optional garnish: sprinkle with fresh parsley or a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
